I just saw an old monte carlo today and noticed that this new one has similar curvy lines along the side.
oh wait, nm, i guess the last model had those, too.

arent they FWD? i've nver seen a V8 FWD car before.... hmmm
Well, there's the Deville, Seville, Eldorado, Aurora, and Bonneville GXP. And that's just GM, off the top of my head. Although, these are the first GM front-drivers in a long time to use a non-Northstar V8 (the Aurora V8, while only 4 liters, was a Northstar) to the best of my knowledge.

EDIT: You know, that front end looks ALOT like a Honda Accord.
Also, the 5.3L V8 out of the trucks? Gee, can't imagine any torque steer issues there... [/b][/quote]
The Cadillac Deville is no longer made. It has been replaced by the 2005 Cadillac STS which uses Cadillac's Sigma chassis. It has rwd and optional awd.

Its the Seville that was replaced by the STS. The fwd deville will be redone shortly, but i think it'll stay fwd for still a couple years, with a new rwd full size car later on in like 2008 or something, if i'm remembering this properly. something like that anyways.

Except for the fact it's the Seville, not Deville. Yeah, you're right. But thanks for telling me something I already know.
