Rangers are nice trucks, but they need optional V8. If Dakota can have V8, I don't see the reason why Ranger can't.
SVT Shoehorned a V8 (I think it was the Lightning 5.4) into a Ranger a year or so back. Lets just say it blistered down the 1/4

I understand trucks for work but not for personal vehicles, so this whole discussion leaves me unmoved. But keep buying them, guys, and when I need to move a refrigerator I'll give you a call. Beer and pizza has always worked for me in the past.

Zoran, how many pickups did you see in your trip? Not a whole lot, I would guess.

Do you mean my trip to Serbia? Not many, with prices of gas there people can't really afford to buy pickup trucks. In Serbia there are hardly few full size trucks. They're either really small based on cars (like Ranchero and El Camino used to be in the States) or bigger, but none of them are in class with F-Series, Ram or Silverado.

Here are some "pickups" build in Serbia.

Those picks bring back memories of the Subaru Brat. Anyone remember those?

They were neat

What they need to do is SVT the heck out of a Ranger.

The new 2007 SVT Ranger Storm

With the 5.4L out of the Cobra R pumpin out close to 400 HP and 400 Torque. Geared up to a 6 speed tranny.

Avaliable options are: Extended cab, 4wd, and tbd

Cause remember: where there's Lightning, there's always a storm comming

Well, put 18x10's in the back with pirreli's or somethin. You wouldn't need traction control... you would need a wheelie bar
