Have you noticed they really don't show that much of the car itself? They show the specs, the engine, the split dual exhaust, a smoking tire, the leather seats, the stickshift lever, a reflection of a vintage GTO on the side of the car, and the new hood scoops. There's a quick view of the entire car at the end. Is Pontiac trying to hide the fact that the styling is still boring for 2005? :scratch:

 

or the fact that it looks like a cavalier and sunfires offspring, on steroids.

It kinda reminds of those converstions from my youth:

No, I don't think so. Boring, maybe. But you would have to add alot, and then some more for that to be rice.

IMO...Boring looking or not, the 400 horses definitely gets my attention.

 

I saw a 2004 GTO commercial yesterday. You know the one with it doing a 180 into the garage with the Bonneville and Grand Prix? it still said with 350 HP. Ummm. Shouldn't there be 2005 Commercials only, with 400 HP claims.

 

I am suprised the marketing department (and design dept) are still at their desks!
