I just saw my first AMX!!!!!
I was driving to the comic book shop, when I saw a bright neon green car... I slowed down and saw one of the most beautiful rear end shapes in the world. I knew right away it was the AMX!
I returned home to get the camera, mind you I was going to the comic book shop before it opened to get a new comic before everyone got their grubby hands on it, but I HAD to take pics and risk it.
Sorry for the crappy pics, but this is my favorite muscle car now.
The pics dont do it justice... the big bad green color looks a lot better in person. More vibrant and in your face. I LOVE IT!

Check the license plate: LASTAMX... not sure if it means the last AMX ever built or last year the AMX was built... the owner wasnt at the mechanics when I took the pics

 

I think it means last year of real AMXs since 1971-1974 AMX was option on Javelin.

'70 was the last year of the 2 seat AMX. I had a '69. That car was FAST!

Nice find, interesting that it didn't have either the "Shadow mask" blackout hood or the "c" stripe.
Both options were very common on the 70 AMXs.

Big Bad colors are great.
