Well, as I've said to some people before...
If GM had been considering importing the Monaro a bit longer and had intended a larger (than 18,000 unit) allocation. Then simply brought both the 2 and 4 door versions over (perhaps producing it here, though I don't know how viable that would be, and in the real-world time table I know it wasn't viable) and simply called it the Grand Prix, or if they insisted on building the GP they do now perhaps the name Tempest would have worked. I think in that situation, with more engine options it would have been well received. Bah, give me total control of GM and all would tremble before my supreme domination of the car market.
