Hi all,
I'm still undecided on buying in the US, but at this point I don't think it's worth the hassle just to avoid the spolier.
Anyway I read all the stories about dealers in the US not accepting X-plan, but every dealer I've spoke with so far said they'll accept it no problem.
What gives? Do they get something from Ford ? Could I get the car cheaper without X-Plan?? (This will be a GT with all the options except Upgraded Rims and Shaker 1000)
My car will probably end up being a factory order because 1) I might get Legend Lime or Sonic BLue 2) I want IUP.
Thanks,
Ben

dealer do get a small kickback from xplan, that's why they usually have no problem taking them.
Best tip, figure out what xplan price is for you, if you can get the sales guy to go lower, great, otherwise, pull out the PIN number.

I guess if the dealer is in a marketplace where they can get MSRP for them, then they may not want to accept X-Plan.
However, that is pretty short sighted. Even if you end up buying a Mustang from that dealer, it would probably be the only car you would buy from them.
X-Plan does make it a much easier transaction.
BTW, I thought we had you talked out of Legend Lime!

Nope still undecided, drove 40k to whiteoak ford to see both colours. Figures it was cloudy as it has been the last few weekends in TO.
The Sonic Blue did look very nice, and it'll probably end up being the colour I choose.
I decided to start another topic to keep my mind of the colour choice
