Who ordered on the Ford and Family Plan and is still waiting?

I just want to see how many are still waiting as myself. I ordered July 26, 06. As of October 4th, still clean and unscheduled. 10 weeks and nothing...They said 6 to 8 weeks for delivery, yea right....What a joke...

Am I the only Canadian order who is still waiting to be allocated on the Ford Family Plan? Let me know, Thank you....

By the way, I droped the 18" rims to speed up my order several weeks ago and still nothing.....They said I would be allocated right away if I did this...Again, what a Joke...

First time new car buyer and very upset with this...The U.S.A orders seem to be 6 to 8 weeks...And are prices with the Family plan are about MSRP in the U.S.A...It would be cheaper to buy there then in Canada....

Yes, I am very upset.....

November/December Dealer Allocations have been assigned, so your dealer will know if they have the GT/Manual allocation to get your vehicle built in this period.

Actual weekly order scheduling has not been set, but a sold GT/Manual order should probably be built earlier in the cycle, meaning first or second week of November. After it is built, there would be one to two weeks transit time.

You should also ask if they have 64E or 64W allocation. If they do, the timing will not be any different with or without the 18" wheels.

September allocation was very tight (we got two). October allocation was basically non-existant (we got zero). Nov/Dec allocation is not much better (we get three), however GT/Manual is up to 50% of GT orders, and may free up even more.

Thank you mstang...I appreciate the information...I understand the allocation is slim...If I was told 12 to 20 weeks, fine as long as I have some idea. When you are told 6 to 8 weeks, you expect that. Yes, even a few more here or there. But every week I expect to be allocated and nothing happens...The truth is all I wanted from my dealer...I sold my car based on 6 to 8 weeks...Have a bank loan set up for 6 to 8 weeks and then I have to tell the bank every few weeks nothing happened...So you see, I based everything on this 6 to 8 weeks rule....

Any way, Thank you again...I feel much better with that information...I will talk to my dealer and see what thay have to say now...And the 64W...I appreciate it...

P.S Sorry for the whining...

There's a nice white GT/CS sitting on the local dealer's lot here, unsold for the last few weeks. It's identical to mine except for the color. It's a vert and it's a manual. If your order is taking too long, think about switching, dealers can arrange it in Western Canada for only a couple hundred bucks truck transport.

Good news, Joseph.
As of October 11, Ford has lifted the GT/Manual restriction on Mustang orders for Nov/Dec production.

Your order should process without delays now.
