I just ordered mine from Shelby Performance. Had them ship right to my door. No custom fees or extra shipping charges (I think I paid $13.00 for shipping). The first set I received was damaged (due to poor packaging) but they immediately sent me another set at no charge and they are perfect.

It was shipped through USPS, not UPS.

I ordered the plain ones. No pics yet as it is to darn cold for me to take the car out of storage and install them.

Ya, I take that back. I just received a bill today from customs. Cost me $20.51. Darn GST charge! Oh well, still not bad.

When you go to install them, don't make the same mistake I did (I will post full details in my blog) but basically when you drill your starter hole from underneath, remember the angle of the hood. I just drilled straight up. Then using a step-up bit drill a 3/4" hole from the top. I closed the hood and the pins rub along the edge closest to the windshield. I should have angled the drill bit when I started. Now I have to file it down to compensate for the difference. The other problem that they don't tell you is that there is a reinforcement strip on each side of the hood. Right next to where the screws go. I snapped off a few screw heads during the installation. It took me longer to install the pins than it did when I installed the shaker hood.

When I installed mine, I was putting the first screw in and hit this stupid reinforcement strip as well and it would not go in all the way straight, so I went to the local hardware store and picked up some shorter screws (same style and material, just about half as long) and put them in instead, worked like a charm!

Have you done the install yet? Just be careful of using the hoodstops area as the plates may not sit flush on the hood.
