I factory ordered on Decemeber 28, 2004 from a dealer in Vancouver, BC

2005 Mustang V6
Performance White
5 spd Manual Transmission

Upgrade Options
Handling Package Upgrade
Active Anti-Theft System
16' Bright Machined Cast w/ chrome spinner
Wheel Lock

Shopped around and found the current deal of $24,500, including destination charge and everything except sales tax.

Base MSRP $23,795
Selected Options $1,485
A/C Excise Tax $100
Destination Charge $995
Total MSRP $26,375

I think this was a really good deal , if not one of the best, what u guys think? What kind of prices you guys in vancouver got?
And how's this comparing to the US price, like how much over invoice , etc.

Well, the thing is, when I ordered it, the manager said it should arrive in 4 -8 weeks and hinting it can be like 4 weeks. I even got him to write on paper that it'll be maximum 8 weeks.

Now I have been calling the sales who usually refers me to the new car manager, and they both not sure when it's coming. And they weren't very responsive to my emails. And wouldn't tell me DORA, VIN, Builddate, etc. Last I heard from them, it'll be here the week of Feb 28, which would make it just over 8 weeks. Now I'm kicking myself that I should have made them agree to give me incentives like free stuff/addons if it does get over 8 weeks.

Or else, at the most I can do is take my $1000 deposit back and buy/order another one, which I don't want to do and have to wait another 2 months.

Hopefully, it'll be here soon. I want to hear if other ppl had the same problem i have.

I think thats about the average deal, for Canada. Availibility seems better here, so the deals are a little better than south of the border. I got 1500 over invoice in mine, which is about 2500 under msrp. Its more than I paid for my 02 mustang, but its still reasonable.

There is a wide range, though. I've heard of some people around here getting 199 over invoice (no special plans) to full MSRP.

I would be happy with the deal you got.
