It's just been sitting in the garage for months costing me a fortune and I just couldn't think up any more reasons why it should stay. So, I sold it... today. I'll miss the 05 GT but I know that there'll be another thoroughbred in my stable eventually. In the meantime, let us bow our heads for a moment of silence for my loss... and then throw a huge congratulatory party for the lucky new owner of my baby!

Actually, I did well on the sale since I put down a good downpayment so I wasn't owing any more than it was worth. I suppose losing the downpayment could be considered a hit though... hmm. I also unloaded a crappy old Jeep YJ this week that had begun to let me down more often than not.
Anyway, to better endure winter's worst, I bought a 2003 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon and will be putting the feelers out for a clean 5.0L Fox coupe. Can't not have a Mustang in the household you know!

It's true Ed, I've almost come full circle! The only difference is that the TJ I had in Victoria was a plain jane 4 cylinder version and the one I have now is a full zoot 6 cylinder with huge D44 axles and locking diffs! Plus, I haven't found another 5.0L yet...

You haven't had a winter yet, the cannal is barely frozen from what I hear. If you think this winter is bad, wait til next year. Still nice hear in Victoria, if you like rain that is At least I can still drive mine every day.

It's true that we've been experiencing a nice west coast winter out here in Ontario but that doesn't stop the city from blowing their annual road clearing budget by dumping literal mountains of salt on every road regardless. Heck, today was fairly sunny and the roads were dry and the plows were out dragging their blades on bare pavement! Oh the lunacy of it all....
Anyway, I though you had bought a Chevette Richard! Driving your Mustang daily... indeed!

I was going to take the Chevette, but it leaked oil and I didn't want a bunch of stains on the driveway. Just as well, we never did get a Winter here this year.
Now I am heading to Arizona to buy a boat and bring it back. I need another toy!
