Five years where did the time go?

Thought I would thank everyone for the help from this site in getting me my 05 Mustang, it has been 5 years this St Patricks Day since I took delivery of my car and it has been just great!
Soon it will be out of storage again and back on the road in the next month for another year of crusin. I planed on keeping this car for at least 20 years ...looks like I'm a quarter of the way there!
Thanks again all for your help with info and pic's so i could buy my car, it's been just super!!

Yes, when I tell my friends that it five years going into it's sixth summer they have a hard time believing it as well. Just seems like yesterday it was picked up at the dealers.

It's crazy, May 12, 2010 will be 5 years for me. I have 16,800km's, taking my car out of storage next week! Can't wait!

I still have my MGW shifter in a box, I haven't even installed it yet!

Hey Boomer...... So will you be buying a 2011?

Ben

Five years for my mustang on 22 April, 2010. Build date 04 April, 2005. Hmmm how do you celebrate a birthday....new rims and tires perhaps!

Quite a few of us got our stang's around the same time I see. I think Ben and I are going for the lowest mileage limes.
I have got about 23000km on mine.

Mine is still in storage but working on it clean up wise... I hope to get it out in the next few weeks if all goe's well. There has been so much for me to do this spring that it's the last thing on my "to do" list.

It's been 5 years so I'm going over it from top to bottom, then over to the dealer for a quick check up and oil change just to be sure.I can't wait to be out on the road again with it!

Glad to hear it! I never did get a chance to make one for the new body style but it was a good run! I enjoyed making them. I'm still using mine with the original weather stripping too (Granted I don't drive much... hehe)

Brought the mustang out last week, 24,700K. Would like to have gotten it out sooner but the snow still showed up a few weeks ago.
