Hi all,
I'm having a hard time deciding between these 2 paint colours, I read that both seem to have colour shifting properties. And the Legend lime does look sweet in pictures.
Anyone know a dealer that has either of these colours in the GTA (Toronto, Ontario).
The dealers around me Northtown, Markville Ford, and Yorkdale Ford do not have either. I'm planning to wait for the IUP business to pass and plan to order so I have it for the Summer (I also haven't decided if I'll get a Vert yet either...)
Thanks all,
Ben

Summit Ford on Hwy 27 North of Finch has 2 legend Lime GT's . One in the showroom with all kinds of weird decals on it, and one in the back (behind the fence) covered in snow. They were there as of 3 days ago , give em a call or go to summitford.com for their number.

Whiteoak in Missisauga had a sonic V6 and a legend lime V6 on the lot about 2 weeks ago.

Yea i can't decide, I'm going crazy, the Sonic Blue does look sweet (Especially with the White stripes...)
Thanks for pointing out that 'stang might be sold (I'll be purchasing a GT anyway... ) But I would always phone first.
I've ruled Red out as my Taurus is red and I'm not a huge fan (Not Black, or White or Silver or Gun metal grey..).. Yellow is nice but attracts too much attention.. hehe
So what's left Windevil blue, Sonic Blue, Legend Lime.
I saw Windevil at the Autoshow last year, not a huge fan.
Of course the hardest thing to decide will be Coupe vs. Vert

I agree, I have had two verts and twice my top had an encounter with a razor blade . On my Vette, they even took out the seats !
The 05 GT looks alot better as a coupe . The fastback look is what makes the car, and also is what mainly keeps with the retro theme IMO .

Now don't flame me for asking this(since I live in Florida), but how many months out of the year would you actually get to drop the top of the vert in Toronto? And would that be worth the extra $4-5k?
Alot of people in the states assume Toronto is Montreal or Winnipeg where it gets 30 below all the time during winter.. That couldn't be further from the truth.
Actually, Buffalo is alot colder and gets alot more snow than Toronto ( average is much more than double for Buffalo per year when it comes to snow) .. Toronto is unique where the jetstream really favors us because of the lake .. Buffalo, even considering they are just south of us, had an average winter temperature that is 9 degrees fahrenheit colder than Toronto.
Chicago for instance is alot colder than Toronto is every winter on average. If its 30 degrees in Toronto, you can count on places like Montreal, Chicago and Buffalo being 25 or less.
Look at a map, Ontario dips down into the US, Toronto is parallel to Boston going east to west .. However, on average Boston is colder than Toronto during winters because of the ocean and the jetstream they are under.
With that said, it didnt get cold in Toronto until very recently in December. Heck, in October and November I was wearing t shirts most days, it was very mild..
With that said, there is about 4 months of winter, and within that timeframe, only about 6 really cold days where it gets to minus 15 celsius..

Toronto is a great place to have a vert and tons of people have them.
Look at how beautiful it is here in Spring, summer and most of the fall. This pic is taken from the north side of the city pointing south with Lake Ontario in the background..

Holder, now you see why Neil Rogers who is the #1 radio personality in South Florida on WQAM always talks about Toronto and how it's the best city on earth

but I had to answer...All else being equal, being near the ocean makes temperatures more moderate, not more extreme.
You're wrong about Boston. It averages warmer than Toronto.

it wasn't off topic as someone specifically asked about the climate of Toronto.. Secondly, maybe you are referring to the west coast where the jetstream is different. I read that Toronto is warmer than Boston during Winters.
Mark (Tigger199) is a Master Technician here. Whatever the question or problem, he has the answers. He literally knows the '05 Mustang inside out.
And Simon (Legend05), maybe way up in north Toronto you only get four months per year, but down south here in Mississauga we have the top down eight months of the year. If it is not raining or snowing and is above freezing, its top down weather!
But you have to have a little patience!
Yours will be first and Mark's will be second.

As I've never owned a Vert, I'm leaning towards the Coupe (as I do like the lines better). Weather in the winter doesn't matter very much as I'll be driving my Taurus in the winter. The stang will be garaged.
Once I sort out the colour the only other item is the Spolier (which I started a topic on a month ago). I'm trying to decide if I place an order in Canada and SEE if Ford will except the order without it (A sales guy at Markville ford claimed he got the Spolier deleted on a Cobra. not sure if he's BS'ing me or not). OR just buy in the states. Not sure about MPH though.
