Delears with Sonic Blue and or Legend lime in GTA
The spoiler delete was available on the Cobra, but that was the ducktail spoiler. It was actually a fuctional spoiler and the speed governor was set five mph slower without the spoiler. The take rate was virtually nil.
Since the spoiler was made standard there has not been a delete option on the GT, and I don't see that changing.

Mark (Tigger199) is a Master Technician here. Whatever the question or problem, he has the answers. He literally knows the '05 Mustang inside out.
And Simon (Legend05), maybe way up in north Toronto you only get four months per year, but down south here in Mississauga we have the top down eight months of the year. If it is not raining or snowing and is above freezing, its top down weather!
But you have to have a little patience!
Yours will be first and Mark's will be second.

I ordered one for stock in Sonic Blue with Lt Graphite interior with the "old" wheels without the IUP when I lost my IUP allocation for January production. It is scheduled for build the week of January 17.
I know its not your preference, but I chose the Lt Graphite because I think the Black dash is too much without the accent.
I guess I'm starting to come around to the "old" wheels, but I still like the spoiler.
And Simon, I just checked and the convertible edits are now open, so I submitted your order. She will start life known as order number M010.

mstang... If I were to wait for IUP (I know no one knows when it would be available).. When would you say I would have to order to get the car by June timeframe ?
Opps I guess I should mention I'm looking at ordering a GT
Thanks,
Ben

Thanx. I feel like a kid waiting for the toy store to open so i can get that new and improved remote controlled GT. lol
I hope you put marks order in.
Again, thanx buddy.
I wouldnt reccomend the Legend Lime colour. Ive never seen it in person but from pics it looks pretty disgusting. As for sonic, IT is an incredible colour. The only thing with sonic is that it sometimes changes to purple.
My understanding from Ford is that the IUP will be about 50% of allocation for the rest of the year, however my Nov/Dec IUP allocation was substantially reduced and Jan IUP allocation eliminated. I want to see what happens with February allocations before I could speculate when to order for June delivery.
It looks like for the spring market there will be plenty of non IUP ground stock, but an IUP unit will probably have to be a factory order.
If scheduling goes the way it is supposed to (it hasn't for the last few months) then March order should be June delivery, but if it doesn't...
We'll have to see what happens with this month's scheduling.
I am also not crazy about Legend Lime. In 1967 and 1968, 20% to 25% of Mustangs were Lime. The ones that are still around are almost all "Resale Red" now. I think you would get tired of the colour pretty quick.

Would it be possible to get the whole package without the my colour cluster.
Then the "my colour" die hards can order the cluster in the future. The satin finish and that wheel are too gorgeous to leave out. It would be a shame to lose the rest of the package.

Good point on the Legend lime, I guess that's why there aren't many people with them (At least that post photos).
I'm probably 75% sure on the Sonic Blue, but I have to check out both to see forsure.
I also can't decide if it's worth the hassle to buy from the US, to avoid the spolier

Ben,
Given you have to pay tax at the border, inspection, etc. It seems like too much of a hassle, although you may be able to save some cash. If I were you I would research what kind of deal you could get in the US and how much it would cost to get it plated in Canada.
I also would like a spoiler delete. What I am slowly trying to do if find a dealer in buffalo/rochester that would have a car on the lot and swap decklids/emblems, but unless the car is sitting, I doubt they will jump on the idea.
Then again, you can always take it to a bodyshop, although I would hate to have a brand-new car have the trunklid welded and bondo'd.

There is an Interior Sport Package (ISP) that only upgrades the steering wheel and the shifter. It does not include the dash plating, the extra guages, the message centre or the MYCOLOR dash.
The ISP is $225 versus the IUP at $535. Gee, which is the better deal!

Galaxie,
True enough, I remember you commented on my other thread about buying in the US
No way I would put my new baby through the trauma of visiting a body shop
After all this decision making I"ll probably end up with:
Sonic Blue GT
IUP package
Shaker 500
Parchment Interior
Or maybe I'll change my mind, am I the only one who can't decide!
Thanks

Now that I have the M010# how would i check progression without bugging you all the time?
Did you order with the IUP or ISP?
The message centre is the trip computer. It has English/Metric, Distance-to-Empty, Instantanious Fuel Economy, Average Fuel Economy, Distance Travelled, Elapsed Time and Fuel Used.
Legend05, until it is serialized, you can't get updates on your baby M010 unless you bug me (hopefully not ALL the time).
And you can relax, I ordered her with IUP.
