The Canadian subforum has been slightly dead lately, probally due to our comparable winter, but on a happier note, the Canadian International AutoShow is coming up.

Dates: Feb. 17-26, 2006

It will again be at the MTCCs and the newly dubbed "Rogers Center" (aka Skydome).

I am always excited for this event after Christmas, but why not start the excitment early?

Last year's Mustang turnouts included Saleen and Steeda, and Ford's usual array. They usually bring out the GT and maybe well get to see the Shelby (fingers crossed) along with various other concepts.

I always enjoy going down to the show with my dad, its become a bit of a yearly tradition for us. I was just wondering how many of us Canuckian TMS members (or New Yorkers, if you guys come up) are heading out to the event this year, any thoughts?

been going since the late 80's and wont miss it in 2006 - i usually try and go on the - tues/wed/thurs - one of those middle of the week days - show is not quite as bussy as on the weekends

yeah we usually try to get out on the weekdays as well. A year or two ago GM gave my dad an invite and they took us to breakfast at their display with a bunch of other customers and we got to walk around pretty much alone. it was pretty awsome

I've been going to NAIAS instead of toronto, but if the trip gets cancelled this year, then I will be there.

My dad and i will definitely go...its kinda disapointing after uve been to detroit cause they had all the 05 mustangs there and only 2 at the Canadian one :P

Havnt missed it in years, sometimes I dont know why I go beause of the crowds until last year when I ended up staying late and found that most of the crowds leave the show a few hours before closing. Prior to this Ive been stuck oing on the weekends and felt rushed through. Its nice to get out though and do something during the winter months.
