Anyone have any news on what models/options/packages will be available in Canada for 2006? Spoke to my local dealer, says that Pony package would not be available... another dealer says it would be available. Thanks.

Its partially wrong though.
It mentions that Tungsten Grey cannot be ordered with Red ICAP.

Great, I'll look for it. I had a look at the US Guide posted in the 2005+ forum. Dealer was telling me that the premium, deluxe were American only. I wonder what the Pony Package is built on in Canada. In the US, the package is option of the Premium.

Canadian specs are V6 and GT.
Deluxe and Premium are U.S. specs.
On the V6, the Power Seat is standard and Spinner Wheels and Shaker 500 are free-standing options.
On the GT, the Shaker 500 is standard and Leather is an option.

Pony Package is available on the V6 model, except with the Convertible with Manual Trans, or with ICAP, or when you order Silver with Parchment interior. You have the option to delete the striping.

I got my dealer to work for me a bit. He showed me the order guide. Pony Package is pretty much the same as the US version, though the Canadian Pony Package doesn't seem to have the Shaker 500. Just to be clear, the US Pony Package is optional on the V6 Premium which does have the Shaker 500. (This is what I understand). The Canadian Pony Package is optional to the base V6 model.

Asked the dealer if I could have a copy of the Canadian Order guide... no luck.

Long story short, I placed an order, left a deposit. The dealer will place the order later this summer or so. Asked for a delivery date in April 2006 (so I don't have to worry about the first winter coming by soon after delivery, and to accomodate budget).

Time to count down the months...

Also ordered a cornfield keychain.

I'm sure the Shelby's will be around what the previous years Cobras were in Canada. Probably more than 200.

Ducktail...uh, all signs point to no on that one.

The problem with the Shelby one is, the 3rd brake light is integrated into the ducktail, and not the trunk lid.
