Talked to my dealer recently while getting my summer tires put back on. They told me there is a shortage right now, mostly because Canada hasn't received any allotment for this month. He also said there is almost a 4 month wait time. If you order now, you'll get it by the end of August.

Just FYI. Anyone hear different? How are you guys doing steve?

Here in Montreal, the new Mustang does not seem to be moving as quickly as anticipated. A couple of dealers that I have spoken with say that they expected a big spring Mustang rush, but so far...
Every dealer that I have seen has inventory, including GT's... A local dealer has about four GT coupes, and least one had ICAP and IUP!
I know that special orders are limited due to allocations, but there appears to be lots of inventory around (pun intended).

Yes, allocation has dryed up in a big way!
We still get some, but nowhere near what we need.

The GT commodity is the big problem.
We can order only about 20% GT.
IUP is about 40%.
Convertible is free availability.

The model year is coming to a close very soon.
There is only one allocation period remaining which will cover production for June, July and Job Last in the first week of August.
I have seven sold GTs in the system, but I don't think I will get any more than another two, perhaps three.

So a GT ordered now will be 2006 probably arriving the end of September or October!

The last two months have been very tight, and I don't see that changing.

We were able to get some inventory back in January and February, so there are some GTs on the ground, but we will not get any more '05 GTs for stock.
The spring market is just starting. The vehicles in inventory will move, especially when people realize they will not be able to do a factory order.

Remember also they ain't $199 a month or 0%. People think it through and make a substantial commitment based soley on product when they buy a Mustang.
But man, what a product!

Those that ordered over the winter are starting to get them now (patience Ben!) so you will start to see more and more on the road.
That fuels demand also.

Man I'm sure glad that I got serialized, for a while there it looked like I might not get it at all...
My dealer said that getting an allocation from Ford for an IUP GT coupe was very difficult, I'll rest better when I finally have the keys in my hand.

(I think he's talking about me )

There are plenty on the lots, but if you want something specific it will be a tough find, that's for sure

All allocations are full at the dealer I got my Mustang from ,up till a week ago they only had 1 GT on the lot and 2 v6's .They got 1 vert in the other day 1 GT and 1v6.
The rest of there allotments for the year are customer orders (4 GT's) .
So if you want a GT it's starting to look like 06 here

I ordered Feb 28th and just recieved my VIN April 22
I was told that my dealer had to cancel a few orders and that me and two others were the last to get their orders pulled. So there is no more 05's ordered for them and they had no word on the 06's
