Angelina got hurt!
Well it was bound to happen eventually, she got hit yesterday on the passenger side door. Damage isn't too extensive but it's there and noticable. There is a crease in the middle of the door and it's pushed in enough right by the door handle making it loose (pics to come asap). I'm still sick over it.
As the story goes, I was parked across the street from my friend's neighbor's driveway. I parked at the curb Sunday afternoon in between two vehicles that are not working so I figured it was safe that no one would hit her in the front or rear (I was right). I've parked there before without any problems plenty of times. So Monday morning when I went to outside I saw the damage and nearly got sick. Now this is the same block that my friend's RX-8 got hit so I was thinking, well now they got me. So I go inside the house to get my phone to call the police to file a report when I come back outside my friend's neighbor proceeds to tell me she hit my baby on her way to church when she was backing out of her driveway. As she's telling me this I walking up on her ready to kill something. So I turn around go back inside and regain myself. Finally I go back out and she again tells me how sorry she is, it's all her fault, she's a christian, she didn't see Angelina cause there was condensation on her mirrors and how she's a christian(yes more than once). So after she hit my car she continued to church and prayed for me and my car. lol So I thanked her for her honesty cause we all know most people would not come forward. I told her I'd get the estimate to her asap and expect her to take care of this totally. So if she has any sort of problem with the estimate than I just go through her insurance and get it taken care of that way. She was honest so I'll try to be nice.
Thanks for letting me vent!

Just got back from Geico's inspection team and they issued me a check already. Now I just have to make the appointment with the bodyshop. Geico's estimate is slightly lower than the bodyshop's.
Here's the pics of the damage. I'll be getting a new skin for the door so there will be painting involved which worries me since it is a sonic blue and they'll have to blend.
I'll post more information as I get it.
