Thumbs down

Well, guys, how about this. We set one of these up a few months ago on StangNet and everyone had a awesome time. About 10 cars showed up total. There seems to be a fair number of us on here, why don't we set something up?

Since we seem to all be in a line from Auburn all the way up to Bellingham, how about someplace in the Seattle - Lynnwood area? There are several good places to eat around there, and I am open to suggestions on a place. Since this weekend is Mustang Roundup, how about the Saturday after that? That would be July 23rd. I would suggest 5 or 6 o'clock for a time.

Sound good? If it's a corny idea... <flame suit ON> All we'd need is a place, again, looking for suggestions here. Let's pick it and I'll make sure they know we're coming.

Not just '05's, all ponies are welcome! Who's with me?!?!

I'd be up for that, I think it would be way cool for a pack of 10 or so 05 Stangs to cruise Lake Washington Blvd in Kirkland or Alki in West Seattle. Or whatever.

Sounds like a good idea. So what's everyone's pleasure, then? Meet at one place and cruise to another for dinner? Or just meet, greet, and most of all EAT! I'm game for either. My suggestion would be either the Red Robin or Hooters in Lynnwood, they seem to be pretty centrally located for all of us. Any other ideas? If we do the ride-then-eat, where should we start it? I am not as familiar with the area as soom of you that have lived here longer than me, so any help here would be greatly appreciated.

How about the hamburger joint? Never been to Lake City. I'll need directions, but that sounds great. I was thinking five o'clock, would that work for everyone?

Head East on 145th to Lake city way - about 4-5 miles.
On lake city way turn right

Follow lake city way until you see Ne 125th
turn right on 125th

at the stop light on 125th turn left on 30th Ave Ne

Sorry I wasn't around to answer this at the time, but as you know, we were there!

Awesome to finally meet you, Andrew, we'll have to do it again some time. We just got back, went to see "Fantastic Four." Not a bad movie, but not a great one, either. Personally, if you haven't seen it yet, wait for the rental. It's worth a rent, but not a ticket (definitely not two or more).

Great burgers, thanks for the tip, now we have another good place to eat! For the next one, let's do something similar, or better yet, meet at place A and do a "Drive" to place B.

Again, great to meet you, looking forward to the next one.

Eric

I'm sorry I missed this one. I had to do a shoot (school assignment) yesterday and didn't get home until 5:00, then I had to pick up my car at firestone where they installed my new wheels.

Incidentally, I have another thread going in the mods section about the new wheels. My driver side rear wheel is sticking out about 1/4" outside of the wheel well and the passenger side is well inside the wheel well. Some said my axle might not be centered.

Eric -
It was great - I enjoyed meeting you both - It was cool to finally meet a fellow 05 stang owner! I did a cruise down hwy 99 when I got off the freeway at Alderwood. Ran into a 04 GTO and we chatted. We got on it a bit and I was able to pull away, although the story may be different with the 05 GTO.

I think we should try to arrange for a BYOF Barbeque with fellow stangers out at kyak point, great park (along puget sound up near marysville. It has a long beach and great view of the olympic mountains... cost 5$ to park in there. There is a Huge parking lot so theres plenty of room.

Even if a bunch of people dont show - it still would be a great chance to get together again - This time I will bring along my Wife and kiddo...

Eric, sorry I missed it. Been out of town for weeks. I sure wanted to see both your cars...and others.

My August schedule is looking better.

Keep in touch.
