I was just wondering if anyone on here has had a dealer in Puget Sound fix the Global up/down feature from the key fob. Figured if it's been done at a dealer already, I'd go there to get mine done. If not, I'll start calling service departments and see who will do it for me. I'll post what I find in the 2005+ sticky for dealers who will do it.

I can't say for sure, but I would swear that I read a post somewhere that said that the dealers weren't enabling it anymore because of either some bug in the computer or a liability issue of some kind. I can't speak to it more than that except I guess I'm one of the lucky ones that has had it enabled from the start and it never was taken off.

Yeah - the problem is that the windows will roll down without user input... just suddenly roll down... wouldnt want that to happen in a rain storm......

That would be bad.

Really... Yeah, that would be bad. Hasn't happened so far, though. It was delivered to the dealer in January, sat there until I received it in March, and I've had it ever since. Hasn't happened once. Should I be worried?

I guess if it hasnt happened - you must be okay so far. You should ask the service department about it.
