VA Beach Car show

Just to let everyone know, there is a car show this Saturday, Apr 26 at the VA Beach oceanfront. You get to park right out on the Boardwalk. $30 to enter, 18th Street from 0730 to 1000, judging from 10-4.

I'll be there.

Great Day and Turnout!

It was the perfect day at the Beach. Nice and warm, sunny, with a cool breeze. Huge turnout, over 80 Mustangs alone! The line of cars streteched over 30 city blocks. Good time for my first real entry to a car show.

Judge came around, pointed a water spot and some dirt in the wheel wells, door jam and under the hood, so no chance for me.
"Get this dirty piece of crap out of here!"

Still, here are some pics of my dirty little girl:

Filthy engine:

My friend, who owned an '04 Mustang GT, thought this was a blower:

Nice Torch Red

Not a big fan of a prop rod

One of my favorites, and the class winner: Blackjack Roush, number 100 of 100.

Nice 'flare' in the trunk,

Another one of my favorites, and the only GT 500 there, JLT's own:

Nice Redfire, good stance, nice hood, wheels are 'different'.

Nice job adding some fogs down low:

Now I'm a HUGE Roush fan, and I love the 427R, but...
If you're going to a car show AT THE BEACH, you got to drop the top!! (I know, sand blows).

You should also know what size engine you have:

I like the polished one on the BlackJack a little better:

Some truck stuff:

This guy spent some time and money!

Bling bling!

That's 235 hp, if it's so small you can't read it...

And the truck class winner, the only Lightning:

Ditto. Really wanted to go, but had a work gig. Great pics though! Thanks for posting Brad.

Those wheels on that Redfire look like a differently painted version of those daisy wheels they made for the VW Beetle. lol
