This a good show it is not too big and the people are very nice. I recommend it for anyone who can make it.
I can't make it. I am getting my Mustang Ready for the MCA National in Huntsville.
Hope you enjoy the show John!

Have I got a story. On my way home from work I didn't get more then 2 miles into my 32 mile commute when I get pulled over. I wasn't speeding at all, actually well under due to traffic. He pulled me over because I didn't have an inspection sticker. I am still running temp plates but I guess I got bad info because I was told I had until I got my plates to get the inspection. It is too late in the day to go get the inspection so I might not make it to the show. It depends on when I can get into the dealer, they actually open up earlier then anyone else.
If I can get it done I might go but I won't be able to put the car in the show.
Did I get bad info?

If you bought it from a Dealer in Va. they should have had a valid Inspection Sticker on the car.
I could be wrong but I don't believe that I have ever seen a car on a lot in Virginia without an inspection sticker.
I hope you didn't get a ticket.

I bought it in North Carolina and I didn't get a ticket. I got a lecture though on how military personnel don't like to follow the rules. It was almost as bad as a ticket.

In Va it is illegal to sell a car without a valid inspection sticker, I would fight that ticket. That ticket may even be considered a moving violation which creates insurance issues. The dealer should pay for your inspection also and the ticket. Legally they should not have let you drive off the lot without the inspection sticker.
