Looking for a good spot to take pics around Philly
Just got my 2011 GT a few weeks ago and wanted to take some cool pictures of the car.
I've been thinking about going to a park or somewhere similar, but nothing around me really strikes me as a cool place.
I'm in 19064, so I'm thinking of something relatively close.
Any suggestions?

I'm Not that familiar w/ Delco. Have you tried any parks or golf courses? How about Longwood Gardens? If you're feeling adventurous, go to the "Plateu" at Fairmont Park, it has a stunning view of the skyline.
I'd also look for old stone buildings as a backdrop. It doesn't matter if it's a church or a firehouse, just use the stone as a "curtain".

I'm in Jersey and only go to PA for the airport and hospitals. On this side of the bridge I usually just try to find either an industrial backdrop, or go to the other extreme with nature's beauty

I've been meaning to get up to Fairmont Park because I need to get pictures of the Phanatic statues that are in there. Just a little side project. Maybe I could combine both of these projects and get them done with one trip?

Hit some of the back roads for old gas stations. Might even be able to find some stations that still showing under a $1.00 for gas. Would make a great backdrop for a picture.

I'll be up in the Jim Thorpe, PA area this weekend and I remembered this little spot.
Google Maps view
The guy that owns the property usually has cars all over the place, but this little "gas station" doesn't usually have anything in front of it later in the afternoons. I'm really hoping that it's empty in front of it because I think it could make for an awesome spot to take some nice pictures.
I want to get some pictures in this weekend before I get the stripes painted on next week.
