I am looking at a mustang about 40 miles west of Baltimore and would like a consultant or someone who is highly educated in mustangs to take a look at it and assess it for me. If anyone knows of anyone in this area that performs these services, I would appreciate it.

Is it a private party or a dealership that has the car? In either case I would see if they will let you take it to a local Ford dealer for an inspection. I don't know about Baltimore but in the Seattle area it cost a little under $100 and they put it on the computer and do an inspection of the rest of the car, engine, brakes, suspension, fluids, etc. That's what I did with my car, I wouldn't have bought it without doing it.
