The beautiful Virginia countryside is the home of the Old Dominion FFW event #5 on the tour. Virginia Motorsports Park in Dinwiddie (just outside of Richmond) has seen some fast runs during the FFW races in the past and this year will be no exception. You don't need to be an old Confederate General to appreciate the significance of the rich heritage of the Richmond area. Famous Civil War battle fields are all around VMP. But that war is over.

CVMC will be helping MCA and FFW with their show on Saturday & Sunday so I hope to see many of you there!!!

Imagine the entire car show to your right and all of the 05 & 06 Mustangs to your left across the road.
Ed knows what I mean!
At least at the FFW you will ALL be parked in the same area

It's not a good idea.
At the CVMC fall show we don't allow pop-up tents in the show field.

Hi, Tony. Hi, Ed. I'm coming up for the weekend but bringing the Lightning this trip. Do you know if the show area is grass or pavement? Also, what's the latest weather update for the Petersburg area? Thanks and looking foward to a great FFW!

Looking to see you there! Just checked the weather website. 40% chance of showers and 75% overcast all day. Of course, there have been thunderstorms all around us today and we have not had a drop.

Ed, sorry you didn't make it. It rained Friday evening & night but had ended by morning. Saturday was dry and Sunday good at least until we left around 3:00 PM. The car show was typical Fun Ford but the race was very disappointing.
Pro 5.0 consisted of four Pro Stock cars and a twin-turboed mid-eighties T-Bird. Only one REAL Pro 5.0 racer showed but must have broke on Friday, as was MIA on Sat. There were just four Outlaw cars at the start of the Sunday race. All in all, not worth the trip. FFW needs to fix this! I can watch Mustangs bracket race at my local strip anytime.

Sorry you didn't make it Ed!
I agree with ya Rick the show was a Typical FFW Show. We had to operate by their rules
I also agree that they didn't have (you know what) for racing
I do feel really sorry for that guy who wrecked his 2006 Mustang. Imagine what he had to tell his wife!
