Anyone going to the World Ford Challenge? It's going on from May 18-21 at Gateway International Raceway in the St. Louis, MO, area. Manny Buginga, 2005 Pro-Street Outlaw Champion, and Tony Gillig, 2005 Pro-Mod 5.0 Champion will both be there trying to defend their titles. Cervini's will be displaying the C-500 as well! I know the Elenor clones are getting old for a lot of people, but I'm still interested in seeing it. Anyway I just wanted to get the info out there for everyone to know about if you live here or are even just going to be in the area.

Hey Mav,
I'm over in Illinois up near Alton, so I got a real short commute to get there. Is it really worth it? I mean $25 bucks apiece! My daughter and I are car nuts, but I can't just leave the wife at home all day, so we're talking $75 just to get in. That doesn't include food or car "toys" I might buy. I assume Saturday will be the best day to go? Are there any discounted coupons or anything available from Ford dealers? My dealer in Wood River didn't even know the event was taking place, but they said they'd check on passes for me. I'm not holding my breath... If I remember right, don't you work at a South County dealership? Maybe not, but I am looking forward to going if I can afford it.
