I live in the Western 'burbs and I've been driving my GT daily since I took delivery in October. I've only seen 3 GTs on the road and 4 V6s. I know that we'll see many more once towns stop salting the streets. Fortunately there is a touchless car wash close to where I work where I take her in to get the salt off.

I ordered mine from Victor Ford in Wauconda. If I wanted a Salene they had a few in stock when I ordered, but didn't have the cash for that, LOL

Yeah I'm locked in at MSRP at Wickstrom in Barrington as well. When I started looking for info I called Arlington Heights Ford since they're the closest to me. The sales guy who got on the phone didn't know anything other than the premium I was going to have to pay. Last time I talked to them.

Got the "blackout" and brake light decal, performance exhausts now, will add CAI and tune soon. New wheels and tires, lower the suspension, gears too...

An update I got my car from Victor in 6 weeks time exactly, they have been great even gave me a framed photo of myself in front of my car taking delivery. I have some photos of my car in my gallery.

Besides my GT, I've seen a few others including a Yellow GT and another Sonic Blue Gt as well as a few V6s

A friend of mine in the car club I'm in has a Sonic Blue GT on order, she ordered it in Feb. not long after I bought mine. She still hasn't heard any indication of when it will arrive though.
I spotted a Legend Lime GT going south on Randall yesterday just north of Rt. 72, and a white v6 sitting in the Meijer parking lot (near Randall and Bunker Hill) last Saturday.

Yep, I showed up there, was the only other '05 besides the yellow one. I didn't stick around extremely long though because I didn't know anyone there, and I was also hungry. It was fun though.
I'll be out at Byron the same day you guys are there to race the SRT Club. I'll be out there with Midwest Racing.
I'll also be out there this weekend, on Saturday. If anyone wants to come out and run with us you're more than welcome to, just mention Midwest Racing at the gate then come and find us, we all have decals across our windshields so we're easy to spot.

I spotted a Mineral Grey one this morning on Rt. 14 in Crystal Lake, I was filling up at Clark when I hear screeching tires and see a grey '05 go screaming by. A minute later spotted a Redfire v6 as well.

Well if you didn't see my post in the main 2005 forum I cancelled my order because I found one out at Webb Ford in Wheaton. That place was teaming with GT's, not to mention a couple of Saleens and Roushs. There were two other Torch Red Gt Verts on the lot when I grabbed mine. Mine was the only one with IUP the others had ISAP. Still shocked I found one.
