I use Eagle One Wax-as U-Dry... Its easy to use... and works really well for what I need it for and how I use it.

I dont know I may be stuck up but I only use Maguires products. I have used them since I got into cars and have never turned away from them. I use Mothers Aluminum/Mag polish for my Aluminum products.
I only use eagle one because I know how to use it.... I'm not opposed to other brands.. Its just that it works great and i have no reason to change.
If you got 4 hours to waste and a 10lb. bag of popcorn read this. Its about John Hennessey and his vette and viper business.

Darrell I received the valve covers today safe and sound.
Great packing job. You will be seeing that box again. Nick...great shipping job. I am going to take them to work tommorow and put them in our chemical cleaning tank over the weekend. It is just a strong detergent but it is at about 200 degrees. I want to see if it will peel that black paint from them. After getting a good look at the inside of them I would never sandblast or glass bead them. The baffle inside is very large...it is riveted in and could hide all kind of grit.
If that doesn't work I will try a chemical stripper. As I have said I have decided to paint them Ford Blue. I haven't went looking for a good heat resistant paint yet so if you guys have a suggestion I am all ears. Hey Nick...PM me what Darrell's shipping cost was since he doesn't seem to want to share that info!!!
Also send me your address I ship them back to you. :-)

You going to paint or powercoat yours??
I think the cost was 1 dead frog, 2 pop bottle caps and a used q-tip.
I would think if you kept the top side up, you could Bead Blast them or tape off the bottom side and all the holes. But do what you think is safe. There is a base coat of Black, sevral coats of the shiny paint and a couple coats of clear.

Good God man it will cost me a fortune to get that disco ball paint off them valve covers!!!!
On a different subject. Darrell bought himself some wax for an early Xmas present and I am also looking for one but the search function in the mod section really sucks.
Who has the cheapest price on a TCI autoshifter these days? I searched Brenspeeds site and can't even get a hit.
The last time I saw it there it said "call for current price".
I am thinking I saw it for around $330 bucks. I am only interested in it for the "Bling" factor. I am truely running out of pontenial mods I guess!!
