Welcome back Scotty. It's been raining here since the middle of the night with a little sleet mixed in. The snow is supposed to be here tonight and tomorrow.

3 days to the big 50 and counting.

Snow here too - mostly gone now.

Crappy weekend. Lots of bad news.

My kitty has a cancerous leg tumor. Probably will lose the leg.

Got word Friday that my cousin in Wabash has leukemia. She is only 52.

Got word today that another cousin (17 yr. old girl) on the other side of the family was in a bad car accident and may not make it.

Hey Chris,
My heart goes out to you and your wife. First off. You got to take care of the pets. To me and Karen they are like our kids!! We wish your Cousin the best...we will pray for her.
Also hope your 17 year old cousin will pull thru. God be with her!! It sounds like you have had a very hard holiday weekend.

Thanks - I appreciate it - but the news just got worse. My Uncle just contacted us. She did not make it.

last time we got a significant amount of snow was 1989, we occasionally get a few spurts, but as bad as the people drive around here when it's just raining, I dont even want to think about these people driving in snow. that being said, it's been really nasty around here for a few days, dark and rainy...and I hate rain as much as nathan hates snow.

I'm so sorry. That's only a little over an hour from me, I'd seen the article. Really is a small world.

Sorry to hear about all that dude.

We have a little snow here, about a half inch or so on the grass and cars, nothing sticking to the driveway yet.

Thanks everyone - I sat in the Mustang last night. Made some engine sounds. A little air shifting. Felt a little better.

I really feel bad for my cousin - she and her husband both teach at the high school where her daughter attended. So it will be really rough for both of them.

I will be ok - just a little depressing with everything all at once.

How 'bout them Colts. Squeaked by again.
