Now that I am able to access my hacked account again (stay away from passwords like "123456" people!), I think Arlington Heights Ford is getting a Red GT, but they are giving me the runaround on mark-ups. "You really want it don't you?? Isn't it worth MORE than sticker to you?????" Hmmm. No, lol

 

Anyone go to the peoria autoshow a couple of months ago and seen the 05? I got pics of the 05.

 

I didn't go to Peoria, but I saw a Sonic Blue 2005 GT in the Woodfield mall area... only guessing that some employee from a local dealer is out and about with it...?

Frank, did you mean Joe Madden in Orland Park? (maybe I they're close, so I am thinking the wrong one here) They were closed Sunday, but I looked thru their garage and saw a Redfire GT sitting kinda' hidden from view with the rear sticking out. Too bad there was a pane of glass b/w me and the daamn thing.

Auffenberg Ford North in O'Fallon had one black v6 arrive this past Saturday, but I'm sure someone bought it today(even though it arrived on Saturday, my dealer said it wouldn't be available to purchase until Monday). I also got to test drive it on Saturday and put 5 miles on it. Hehehehe

 

I was just checking the dealer inventory lists for Rod Baker Ford in Plainfield they have 4 '05's listed in their inventory that were not there yesterday (2 Gt's and 2 V6's). I also checked Fair Oaks Ford in Naperville and they have a silver GT listed that wasn't there yesterday. Here are the links...

Where exactly is O'Fallon? It seems that alot of downstate dealers are getting 05s and ChiLand has nada...

 

O'Fallon is down south and approximately 6 hours away from Chicago.

Auffenberg in Belleville has a grey/silver one in the showroom. I think its is a GT, but I couldn't make it out too well.

I know ABJ Ford in Trenton is going to get a black Mustang GT. I don't know if they have it yet or if they are still waiting.

 

I guess I saw you coming back from the test drive at Auffenberg North this past Saturday. I saw a black V-6 Mustang pull up to the showroom some time after lunch. I wanted to stay and check it out, but I had to get going. I came back later, but I did not see the car. The black Mustang seemed to draw a small crowd while I was there the first time.

I went over to the dealership sometime 1:25ish p.m. that Saturday, so if the person you saw coming back from the test drive was a short Filippino girl ... then yes that was me Hahahaha!!

I drove through Auffenberg's lot sometime between 12:00 and 2:00, but the time you state sounds about right. I didn't see any 05 Mustangs when I drove in front of the showroom and looked at the Freestyle and Five Hundred. I drove around the lot and looked at the new F-150s. I came around by the Merlot Thunderbird and right in front of me was a black 05 Mustang that just pulled in. I saw a guy get out of the driver side, a young girl exit the passenger side, and then another guy get out from the back seat. That could have been you getting out of the car. I didn't really stick around like I really wanted to, but I had to go. I did notice that the car drew the attention of several redbird fans that were decked out in red. I was just leaving as they moved over to the 05 Mustang. If you saw an Azure Blue Mach 1 driving through the lot, that was me.

Nope that wasn't me that you saw then. I would've been the young girl getting out of the driver's side My dealer(Mike Mason) came out of the back seat of the driver's side and my dad came out of the passenger side. I also didn't really notice a Azure Blue Mach 1 driving through the lot, so we probably just missed each other.

 

Elmhurst Ford has two, a Black GT, and a white V6 -- Complete with a salesman that you can feel starting to burn a hole in the back of your head with his eViL eyes! Those turds were protecting the Black GT in the show room like it was a prototype or something! He wouldn't even let me sit in it, and it wasn't even sold yet! Oh well, I'll have my own someday..........

Go to Willowbrook Ford. I test drove a Grey GT 5 speed. They have 3 GTs in stock currently.

 

Bob Ridings Ford in Taylorville ( app. 35 minutes east of Springfield) has a blue V6 with white rocker stripes. Looks gorgeous and reminds me of just a plain, regular old mustang. It's great.
