Well, there has been some discussion of a Chicagoland meet the weekend of Columbus Day...

This year, Columbus Day is on a Tuesday, so we can meet on the 9th, 10th, 16th or 17th. The place will be one of the Portillo's (If we get enough time, I might be able to get Portillo's to put out the red carpet (or ketchup, whatever.))

So, that's the guidelines, please give me your ideas. Also, even if you don't have an S197 by then, just drop in anyways

Oh, and the time to meet will be sometime after 5:00pm...

 

Ok, I'm think the 16th is probably the best day for the meet.

If ya don't like Portillo's, other suggestions are welcome...just as long as there is a big parking lot with businesses that won't be disturbed by a big presence of Mustangs. If it is a restaurant or business I know of, I will work with 'em to make it a 'sponsored' event. (A whole bunch of S197s is sure to attract business )

 

Well that's a Saturday, so it should work a-Ok for everyone.

I hope any one of us soon-to-be-2005-owners has their car by then, as that would be real nice. Better yet, we actually get to eat as well!

Time is aftr 5pm...the exact location is still up in the air...

I would think a central location is good...maybe the one on Butterfield in Downers Grove...?

The meet will take place at the Portillo's in Downers Grove on 10/16 starting at 5:00pm going to whenever...

Bring your Mustang(if ya got one ) or another cool car. Bring your buddies, kin, co-workers, whoever. I suggest wearing Ford or Mustang Shirts to be easily identified...if the weather is warm, I'll be screening Bullitt from my Jetta

Didnt see the address for portillos, looked it up on mapquest it gave 1500 Butterfield rd . Is this the one?
