I live in Indy and want to know what experiences Indy Mustang buyers are having at the local dealerships...

I know that some dealers will really work with you while others don't have a good reputation.

I live close to Indy. I have my GT on order, and I am patiently waiting for it to get here. As far as local Indy dealers, I cant help you there....but I know a really good dealership in Brookville. Very friendly sales staff and service. Plus, I was the first person outside the dealership to test drive their first 05 back in October.

I live in Muncie. I have never bought a car in Indy, but, I went and looked at the first '05s Tom Wood got in. Both were WB, one a V6 auto, the other a GT 5spd. I just went to look and drive. they were asking 2k over sticker. I said "no way" and started driving away. The salesman chased me throught the lot saying they could do better. His last offer was sticker. I don't know if it would have gone lower, but, I would think you could get a better deal elsewhere.

Last I looked in MArion (about 45 min from Indy), they had a perf white Gt with Auto that had been there a few weeks. If they still have it, I bet they'll deal.

I bought my last 3 Fords in Muncie (about 45 minutes). The sales staff was fine, but the service dept was terrible. I had to return almost everytime I had something fixed to have them re-do something. that was 7 years ago, it may have changed.

There are a lot of good dealers in Indy.. I can suggest a bunch if anyone is interested...

Tom Wood however, is full of a bunch of thieves. I do not reccomend doing business with them... Liars, thieves, and punks...
