Midwest Racing and The Pyramid Club in Addison IL will be hosting our first annual Spring Fling Cruise on Sunday May 20th from 12:00 to 5:00pm. The exact location is 236 W. Lake St. Addison IL. 60101. I won't lie, we're looking to build up our membership and we thought this would be a good way for everyone to meet our crew. Anyone interested in finding out more about us, look us up at www.midwestracing.net. This is open to all makes and models of American Made cars. There will be discounts on food, beer, and rounds of pool with over 25 tables. A DJ is possible but we're still trying to nail everything down. There may also be some vendors there offering discounts on parts or work you need done. The Pyramid Club will also be sending out 10,000 fliers to local postal customers announcing this and other Pyramid Club events so this could be huge. So stop out and check out some American Iron. I heard Midwest racing has a meet first Sunday of the month Im going to check it out 5/6 , are there a lot of fords there ? Chicago land mustang season opener is 5/19

 

I'm glad to hear that, you're more than welcome to come meet us and check out our club. We do have a few Fords at the moment, not as many right now as there were before though, definitely looking to add a few to our group. We race once a month at Byron among ourselves and get our own staging lane, our next time out there is Saturday, May 12. There's trophies at the end of the season along with a camping trip in August and a few other parties toward the end of the year.

I am currently using my daily driver Focus as my club car due to having sold my Mustang, but I also have a Fairmont in the garage that I am working on to try and get roadworthy so that it will be my racer.
