2006 International Ford Mustang Dyno Day - Mustang 5.0 and Superfords Magazine
I searched and found nothing on this, so I figured I might as well post (if this violates any rules, go ahead and delete it mods).
Here's the info.... if you're a shop in the Midwest, feel free to post up!!
The first ever International Ford Mustang Global Dyno-Day™ will occur this October in 50+Performance Shops in the United Stated and Canada. We hope this event will stand as the largest Dyno Day ever to take place in the world.
Each participating vehicle owner has the choice of being tested at one of 50+ official Dyno Day Shops. All results will be posted on the official Dyno Day website following the event, including the owner’s name, a description of the vehicle, a static photo of the vehicle, and a graphical result of the power pull. Six classes have been established as have rules and guidelines for this event. Please refer to the website (www.dyno-day.com) regularly for updates and changes as they occur. Trophies and prizes will be awarded following the event. First class will receive a trophy and prizes, Second and Third place prizes will be awarded as well. Trophies will be issued by Mustang 5.0 and Superfords Magazine.
Mustang Dynamometer and Mustang 5.0 and Superfords Magazine are committed and have arranged for coverage of this event on Speed Channel Television.
Every step will be taken to insure a level and fair playing field. As should be expected, Mustang Dynamometer and Mustang 5.0 and Superfords are dedicated to making this event a memorable one – not only this year but for years to come. We expect hundreds of Ford Mustang enthusiasts to participate in the first ever Dyno Day – make sure you are a part of what will eventually become the annual event we all look forward to. After all, we are in this to have fun, right? Thanks for your attention to this matter and we hope you’ll join us this October for the first of many Dyno Days!
