That could be fun. If "Kanan" is the road I'm thinking of, it runs right past the site of some classic SoCal road racing of the 1950s, at Paramount Ranch.
Actually Kanan is the offramp name; you have to bear left at Cornell Road to go right past Paramount Ranch.
