If any one is interested, I'm going to Sacramento Raceway 1/4 mi. on Wed. The 7th of May.
Then auto crossing with the SCCA on May 17th, and 18th!

So if your into living life a 1/4 mi. at a time
Or burning up turns!

Let me know I'm looking for people to go with!

 

Does any one else with 3.73 gears have to hit 5th gear in the 1/4 mi.
My first time out all stock I was hitting the rev. Limiter while crossing the line in 4th gear.
I'm going to have to start grabbing 5th if I go any faster, which in turn will slow me down,
( double edged sword) not sure what to do with out going to a taller tire.

 

Everyone with 3.73s hits 5th at the finish, unless they spin bad off the line and take that long to hook. Get a tune and raise the rev limiter 250rpm and you'll be fine

What SCCA event are you going to?

Oh nice! I'll have to make the next one. My 03 should be gone this week and I won't have a Mustang for a while...

 

It was mustang night @Sacramento Raceway!
I ran my fastest time yet and won first place, in bracket racing!
12.72 @ 112 mph (not bad for stock tires)

 

I'm on a role, with my new Mustang!
This weekend I ran in two sacramento SCCA Solo2 events!
Round #3 (Saturday), Round #4 (Sunday).
I was running in F Stock class (pretty much as delivered from factory)
I took first place in my class both days!
I'm loving this car!

Just a heads up, there is a SCCA solo 2 race at Mather AFB (sacramento).
Saturday, and Sunday, March 28th and 29th!

 

How do you enter? Ugh I need to swap my pads and fluid before I thinks about doing any track events!

 

Just show up to enter!
You don't need to worry too much about brake fluid and pads, autocross does not get speeds past 70mph!
As long as you have ok pads you will be fine!
Come out for Saturday, we will run in the AM run group, get there about 7am, done by about noon!
It's a fun time!
