Road trip today (yes in the pouring rain)
I'm going to check out the park & ride and find a large parking area with some burger joints.

Boy am I glad I went on the road trip today.
The park and ride doesn't exist, but there's a real cool street right around the corner. 67th street was totally deserted, today. and all the on street parking is at an angle. I counted 48 spots on the right hand side and didn't bother with the other side.
So, the directions are
Take the Ashby exit in Berkeley.
Turn right and the first stop light 7th Street (unmarked). There's an Ashby Lumber, 76 station and a West Marine store.
Turn right on to Folger and then an
immediate left on to Hollis St (the road naturally curves that way)
One block to 67th.
Take a left
You'll see me BLack '05 GT and a banner.
I'll try and get there early enough to put up Mustang Markers on the corners (turns).
As for a stop for lunch. I found a great In 'n Out burger in Milbrae. Unfortuantley, I don't think they'll be done building it in time for the Gallop.
IWANTMYNEWGT suggests the following: I agree because I drove and found it today:
In-N-Out just off 880 in Union City. Take the Alvarado-Niles exit West (towards the Bay) and it is located in the Union Landing shopping complex immediately on the right after you come off the 880 overpass.
In-N-Out's own parking lot is fairly small, (I counted 24 spots) but it is located in a large complex with a Century 25 movie theatre, Lowe's, Border's, Wal-Mart, etc. so we should be able to find plenty of parking right near it. There is also a Burger King and a Fresh Choice (for those who want to eat healthy) there. There a gas station (either 76 or Chevron, I forget) right there, too, for those who need to fill up.
Where were you at 5:04pm., October 17th, 1989?
Greater than 400ft under the surface of the ocean off the coast of a once enemy in the cold war, wondering what happened to the world series game that day.

Had a great meeting with the GOLDEN HILLS MUSTANG CLUB this evening.
It was officially put out there that I am putting on this Gallop Around the Bay and they are all invited.
Good response. The presidents wife had a sign up sheet all ready. Someone with a '69 was signed up before I even got there.
They have 97 members (don't know how many will come). They're meeting in Vallejo at 11:00 at a Denny's, I think, and then all driving down together.

Where can I download the flyer? I will drop one off at the local dealer, he claims to have moved 35 out the door since November.
