What: BBQ then Sunset Cliffs sunset photo shoot then cruise

This post will be updated with all new information But this is as it stands:
Plan:

Meet at my house for BBQ dinner and meet the others. At 5:30, leave here and cruise to Sunset Cliffs. Sunset is at 7:01 PM Photo our cars lines up against the cliffs with ocean and sunset backdrop. From there, any additional cruising will be decided among members who still have the energy to drive.

The trip from my house to the cliffs will take us from here to mission gorge to the 52 west to the 163 south to the 8 west to the end, left on Sunset cliffs blvd to the cliffs. We are leaving this early to make sure that there is parking together.

What to bring:

I will provide burgers and all the trimmings, chips and sodas. If you would like to bring something else to throw on the BBQ, please feel free! (make sure whatever it is is thawed by the time you get here, this is a time saver! )

From North West San Diego County:

Take the 5 south to the 805 south
Get onto the 52 west
Take the MAST exit turn left
Turn right at West Hills Parkway (First light)
Turn left on Mission Gorge
Turn right on Big Rock Road
Turn right on Poplin
Address is 8009 Poplin, it is about half way up the street


From North East San Diego and Temecula
Take the 15 south
Get onto the 52 west

You know, you people need to COME NORTH FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!

Argh, its my anniversary that weekend, I gotta see if the hubby wants to hang out with Stangs... all black ones at that!

I just detailed the living heck outta my car, although can someone please give me a tip on water coming outta my louvers and mirrors??? The trunk I got pretty good, but the rest, ACK!

 

arent you going to be at the Saleen Show that day? and RSM the next day?
and we are going north for both of those the cruise is after the Saleen show and heading back south and the cliffs at sunset will make a sick shot.

About the louvers blow dry it, either an air compressor, reversable shop vac, or heck a blow drier for your hair, set it on cold though, you just need air to get the water out of the cracks, you can also drive it after drying and before anything else, and then when you get back to the garage or whereever you are detailing it then redry the new drips and then it will already have driped and have nothing left to drip and ruin your clean finish, then wax and everything else

 

Actually, I may not even be home that weekend. My husband is being very evasive... I think he has something up his sleeve...
