First of all I wanted to say that it was nice to meet everyone at the Peterson Museum last weekend. I hope to see you all sometime in the near future at another event.

After reading Jessica's posts about meeting Foose recently I have an idea on what could be another get together sometime soon.

I don't know if this would be possible but I was thinking that a tour of the Boyd Coddington plant would be interesting...if Boyd would allow something like that.

boyd who????? JK. Sounds like a good idea, right now SSM is working on getting together with Chip Foose to do an interview, not sure what the details are going to be, that is still being worked out, but it will happen and then the idea is to do more things like this so Boyd might be an option.

Some other suggestions:

Saleen tour - I did this with the Viper cluba few years back. We got a tour by the head of engineering and we were taken into all areas of the shop (engine room, jig room for the suspension and frames), we got to play with the carbon fiber pieces of the S7, etc. I ran my camera out of disk space I was taking so many cool pics.

Meguirs - Buddys of mine with the Viper and Porche clubs have gone to Meguirs and received a "how to" class on detailing. They were even givn the opportunity to pull their cars in and detail them. All of them said it was a very worhtwhile event
