Which resort? maybe we'll crash it
. This won't be the only one we do for sure. We'll catch you on flipside for the next one

Well it seems like the forecast for the weekend has went form "mild" to "wild" in a hurry. Temps in the Valley tommorow could be right around 110, Prescott in the high 80's to low 90's.
BUT....
We're still on! I've sent PM's with my contact info to all that indicated interest, so if you have a last minute change of plans please do get a hold of me.
Look forward to seeing everyone!

We had a great time at the "Southwestern Roundup" today! It was nice to meet several members of TMS.
We had 3 GT's (2 Redfire, and 1 Black) and 3 V6's (Sonic Blue, Windveil Blue, and Mineral Gray) in attendance. We received a lot of stares while driving, especially when passing through Prescott.
We leisurely drove from Phoenix to Prescott (and back) with some spirited bursts in the triple digits. Fortunately, no tickets were issued.
That was the first time I had drive her that fast, and I was impressed by the handling and stability. The driving through the mountains was a lot of fun, although the very slow Harley's in front hindered us quite a bit.
I have posted several pictures to our website, and that can be viewed by following this link: http://gallery.theneals.net/southwestern-roundup
I have some more pictures that I will post once I get a response from a few people (license plates, etc). I will edit this post once I add them.
Tony -- Thanks for setting up this trip!

It was great to meet everyone, I enjoyed it as well, so did my wife Lesa. Especially since I let her drive for a stretch
She apologizes for the merry go round in Prescott
It was good times.

You can see more at my Gallery.
Check back there later tonight or tommorow and I'll have more up there, I'm waiting for the battery to recharge.
Martimus also has some pics in his Gallery as well!
We'll have to do it again.... Soon!

Had a great time yesterday on the Southwest ride. It was fun meeting everyone even if we didn't keep up with the pack much of the time! My camera isn't digital so it will be a bit before pics are posted. Tony, thanks again for organizing!
Dawn
Dawn
I saw you in my rearview plenty of times Dawn, you kept up just fine
I actually liked that it was a small group, I couldn't imagine trying to keep much more than 6 Stangs all together.
I just wish I could remember the names of the couple who showed up at Safeway but couldn't make the trip. The ones with the new Sonic Blue GT that was delivered to them Tuesday.
Maybe they'll chime in

Tony, I'd be there in a heart beat if I were settled out in NoCal! Nothing I like more than a ROAD TRIP! I'll be a Californian by August. Perhaps y'all will have another roundup thereafter?

Oh yes, you can count on it Chris.

Since you're coming to NoCal in August, that'll give you time to settle in and for us to cool off a bit here in the Desert. By the time early October rolls around it gets really nice here.

There's something about an open road and a V8 at your command. Very liberating. Your recent venture reminds me of the road rallies we had up on Long Island when I was a member of the Long Island Chrysler Association. Good times were had by all, and some interesting stories came of it too. Can't wait to join the fun!

That's awesome. I recently vacationed in Sacramento. Put over 600 miles on the Pontiac G6 rental driving between San Francisco, in and around Sacramento and up to Chico in the Sierra Nevada foothills. All I could think was "man, I'd love to be doing all this driving in my 'Stang!"

You'll definitely got your share of open road if you decide to venture out with us. It's over 750 miles just from Sac to Phoenix. Not an earth shattering drive but definitely not right around the block either.
In any case we'd love to see you joining in on a Southwest Mustang advanture!
