Wow Ft. Worth is great.
Been here since Sunday.
Got my first door ding today. Car is over a year old and had till today remained dent free.
Oh, and I got to see a CHIPs patrol/ Matrix style accident today. As it happened.
Tractor "lost" it's trailer at around 80MPH on I-20 today. Looked like the trailer exploded as it separated from the cab, front of trailer dug into the concrete and decided to head off into traffic. I was the car in front of the truck when he decided to change lanes and his trailer decided he didn't like that part of town.

YEEEHAWWWWWW!

Oh, but my son is excited. He's only 11. Said he wanted to know if I'd run him up to the DMV so he could get his license. "Dad if these ppl have licenses and had to take a test to get it, then I am sure i could go and pass the test today. You just need to remind me which one is the brake and which one is the gas." (I swear to goodness he said that today)

So where did you move from and what part of town did you end up in? I'm over here on the Westside.

 

We are staying in corporate housing at Oakmont and Bryant Irving (sp?).
As soon as our home sell in Memphis we will find a more permanent home.

So I guess we are living near Benbrook and considering looking in Keller, South Lake, Arlington... not quite sure exactly where yet.

FYI... I lived in Houston for a few years so I am familiar with the driving here.
As a matter of a fact, my daughter was born in Texas. (a fact that she is VERY proud of)

Used to live in Fort Worth, but took a job up in Sherman about a year ago and moved up here for a much easier commute.
