Jarrod, leave the rears aired to 32. Don't lower them.

I have a shifter bezel I need to put it. It is the one from Silver Horse Racing. I got it for free since they took so long to get me the adhesive for the rear medallion. Of course I still need to put on the medallion. Maybe I can do it on the 26th or something Paul at your house since I have to drill a hole in the car to attach it.

I am a seasoned shooter with a rifle. I can hit a flea off a dogs back at 300 yards. I suck with a handgun. Part of me getting my CCW is to hone my handgun skills so I can hit something more than just at point blank range.

I got a phenom deal on the Glock since my wife's uncle is a gun dealer. He gave me his cost since he doesn't want to make money off family. It was dirt cheap compared to what it would normally cost.

If you want to go shoot sometime Im game. Have a membership at tulsa firearms. May need to renew it. It's been a while since I shot. I love the Glock. Its a good shooter, and reliable. Not a big fan of the 40 cal though.

Why not like the .40 caliber? I wanted .45 but couldn't afford it and I wanted something bigger than a 9mm. The Glock 27 is a subcompact so it is really small.

With my CCW at TF I get a 1 year membership so we should definitely go. Once I get my CCW we will plan a shooting outing at TF

Well for me I like the 45 for the knockdown effect. I figure in the heat of the moment your training kicks in and fight or flight mode makes it harder to shoot with accuracy. The 45 packs a whallop and If I hit you even in a non vital area it will take you down. The 40's not bad I mean anything is better than nothing. I just haven't had the best luck with it. I used to have a 40 smith and it was accurate but i hated it all at the same time. LOL

We could go to an outdoor range if you want to become familiar with your rig before your CCW. Although the shooting portion of the class is pretty rediculous. More about range safety than proficiency with your weapon.

Yeah, I really wanted the .45 for the same reason, but I can't afford it, even with the great deal. I definitely wanted something more than a pea shooter 9mm

I hope to have it in before the CCW. If it does come in, we'll go out. If not, I'll have to rent a Glock at TF for the course I guess.

I'm going to have my DRs mounted next week once I get them up here to Tulsa. They are in Lawton right now. I have the wheels in the garage waiting to go. Thanks for the tip for the tire place. I will definitely be using them to mount the DRs. I can't wait to see what a difference yours make this Friday

I will say that as long as you use a plus p round you should be ok. Personal protection rounds at all times while you carry and ball ammo is ok for the range. I have had my CCW for 7 or 8 years. I like knowing that I have some means of protection if I choose to carry or at the very least in my car close by and legal.

It's also like a get out of jail free card. If you get pulled over while carrying once you inform of the permit they more or less let you go. SInce they know your not a scum bag.

Tell me about the rounds. I'm not sure I know what a plus p and a ball round are...

Plus P are more or less hollow points. Real nasty leaves a wound channel about 4 times the size of the orig. projectile. Ball ammo is just like it sounds just a round ball. Well actually oblong but you get the drift. I can show you some samples.

I would appreciate the samples. I know very little about handguns. I know a ton about rifles and shotguns though

I can definately shoot a fly off a turd at about 500 yards with iron sights and out to over 1000 with the right optics with a rifle. I like handguns as well and am confident in my abilities to hit what I'm aiming at for sure. I used to be real big into firearms. Now I'm down to the basics, AK-74, AR-15, 12 guage home defense holds 8 rounds of 2 3/4 OOO Buck, couple of 22s, couple of handguns, just fun stuff these days,
