Remember your 410 gears don't help you on a dyno

The CMCV delete plates and the UDPs have yeilded anywhere from 8-12hp each added with the 91 RACE tune this is Dougs estimate for me with what I have added and what he has tested. Also going off of others that have dynod around the oklahoma area with the same mods as I and compared their #s

For gears deduct 5hp and 5tq... they dont decrease HP or tq they just mess with the dyno and therefore reduce the dyno #s. This has also been tested due to so many people wanting to know how much they really lose on the dyno.

Jeff I didnt mean to come off defensive or rude to you, Its just that I didnt understand your comment about my HP levels. The only thing I dont have as far as bolt ons for HP is long tube headers which is on the list, but very expensive. The only other options I have as far as decreasing my times at the track is getting more of my power to the ground and reducing weight. That is why I am having Suspension questions due to the traction problems I am already having and I havent even lowered the car yet.

Sorry, I meant no dis either. I have always heard that high HP levels produced by SCs are what cause a car to really need lcas with relocation brackets. LCAs by themselves are ok, or so I have heard. Again, no dis meant man, no dis...

Jeff I understand your thought process but as we all know if your suspension is setup correctly a car with moderate HP can run some pretty amazing times. You dont have to have extreme kenne bell type power to gain from the added suspension mods. But no blood no foul.. no biggie... agree to disagree

Still debating to go to TNT this friday... I wanna go, it's just getting around that will be a pain. I do have a feeling Vista Blue won't be the fastest color after this friday. With David's DR, he more that likely will now be the fastest. But i assure you... life will go on.

Jarrod- Before deciding what direction you want to go... Have you ever been to Hallett? If not, wait until the Shelby show. I love the twistys. It's just a lot more expensive and harder to get to than the drag strip. But, it's a blast and really takes skills. It will also make you a better driver because you're using the full functionality of your car and yourself.

I myself am building an all-around car. It won't be specialized in any one aspect but competent in all. (Drag and Road racing).

Paul, you should go. We just need to manuever you to the stands and then plant you. It shouldn't be too tough.

Hallett is a blast but if you have a daily driver it can be hard on the car and the tires until you know what you are doing. Also, instead of a fun $25 you pay over $100 every time you race. It's not for the faint hearted finanically or otherwise.

Paul I completely understand what your saying. Thats pretty cool that you are going for the all around suspension for the track and strip. I have determined that I want to occasionally take her to the drag strip, but wont be road racing I dont think.

spoke to Josh at PMP (awesome guy by the way) He helped me with my decision on how to get the power to the ground after lowering the car. We went with the CHE tubular Non-Adjustable Lower Control arms (power coating them red for me ) and also the CHE LCA relocation brackets "anti squat". He explained all of the geometry aspects of what i was doing and why it was needed and the pros and cons... we finally came up with what will work with what I want the car to do. They should arrive next week sometime. I know I will more than likely need an adjustable Panhard bar and adjustable UCA as well, but those can wait for now. Cant wait to see how she stands after the Eibachs go on!!

I thought the panhard bar and the sway bars were more for cornering? I plan to change mine out too since I drive it every day.
