Thumbs up

Hey all,

I live in Naples, Florida and haven't bought a new Ford since I moved here, but I have had purely awful experiences at 75% of the dealers I've taken my other vehicles to, to the point where I'm paranoid about having any warranty service done at all, even on a brand new car. I've had my Trans Am damaged, I've had incorrect or out-of-spec fluids put in, and the dealer where my wife got her Mazda6 -- the only Mazda dealer in Naples -- ended up going bankrupt for failure to pay for their new car inventory! :bang:

When I get my new Mustang, I want to make sure I buy from a dealer that has a good sales department, but more importantly, that should the car ever need warranty service, there's a place I can trust to handle it with the respect the car (and myself) deserves.

Looking for your recommendations on great Ford dealers (either sales or service) on the west coast of the sunshine state...anywhere between Naples and Tampa. I'll drive quite a distance to purchase a car, but obviously it's tough to make a 200-mile trip for warranty service given the rigors of day-to-day life, especially if I need to leave my car behind! So I'm looking for a service department a bit closer to home.

I think we've only got one Ford dealer right here in Naples and that's Tamiami Ford. I know nothing about them, other than they are not a full certified SVT dealer (they got the SVT Focus cert only, which is no longer produced as I understand it).

Any advice, recommendations or even horror stories would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks!
