Pics from Music City Mustang Club Show, Nashville Super Speedway, Lebanon, TN

A coworker and I drove down I40 a ways to check things out. This was my first mustang show. I actually entered, even though there's not much to look at, but it's definitely fun to participate and get to be out there with all the great cars.

This was a great show with quite a bit of variety. There was everything from a Shelby CS6 and a supercharged V6 SN95 to a 67 GT500KR (Surely was a clone but I didn't get that info.) There was a nice looking 70 torino, several GT500s (One I noticed ditched the whipple for a Kenne Belle.) A saleen S281 and S281 Extreme with the "Liztick" paint job. There was an amazing looking 67 Gt500 in Viper Red. The guy painted it himself and it looked pretty near if not flawless. There were several fox body saleens from the local saleen club and quite a few S197 Roush cars.

I think I must have messed up on some of the pictures. I seem to be missing some or something. I guess that is what I get for not taking my own camera...

Thanks Music City Mustang Club.

That KR had to have been a clone they made them in 68 or you just got your years mixed up. 67-68 are just a little different so some people get the years mixed up.

It may have been a 68 actually. It was a convertible.

That is it on the right...

If it is the blue one that is a 67 GT500.

The blue one had the center fogs like a GT500 but was labeled GT350. I'm pretty sure these were all clones. The bright red one was painted by the owner and was really clean. It won 'best engineered". The KR won something too if I am not mistaken and if it's what I remember, the owner was a member and it was a clone.

Hey, you got a shot of the engine bay on my torch red 05. It was the Paxton 2200 with the shaker. Which car is yours?

Mine was the mostly stock looking vista blue between the yellow flamed 06 and the black roush down on the end near the track. Close to the bullit and the sweet 65 that that lady restored.

I talked to you briefly about the silver welting and the quarter louvers when you first got there. I had thought I had seen the car on the forum.

I found out about it from my coworker. He saw it in the MCOA magazine.

So your engine is stroked? Big difference? What is involved? Just rods or crank also?

Got any numbers for it?

For sure man I love it it's my 5.0 - I don't really follow the crowd I really wanted something different and I got it. Its crank and rods with my kit because it uses a smaller journal on the crank and smaller head on the rod so that you get the c.i. without the block work in most cases, and its just a hone and bore. I have higher numbers now but my new dyno sheets are at home, so these are what ya get for now.

If that is true, you're in lower/mid end Roushcharger territory.
