Hi. I'm from Raleigh. I'm trying to convince myself to go ahead and buy a new GT, but I have to find exactly what I want first. I'm looking for a Sonic Blue GT, parchment interior, automatic, Bullitts, and IUP. If you've seen it anywhere, please let me know! What kind of GT prices are we averaging around here? I saw almost exactly what I was looking for at Capital Ford this past week, but it didn't have the IUP.
Anyone have any good experiences with dealerships in the state they'd like to share? I bought my current GT from Garland Shepheard of Team Ford in Tarboro NC. I guess you could say I used the "good ol' boy" system to get a great deal since my dad's bank did business with Team Ford since long before I was born. He is truly an excellent dealer, and I definitely intend to try to buy my next GT from him.

Check out Dale Jarrett Ford in Charlotte (Indian Trail) its kind of out of your way but they are really good. they have lots of Mustangs. As for the fact of a sonic blue GT they do not just a V6 but they do have a special edition GT which they are making like 500 of them called the Dale Jarrett Special edition which adds $12,000 worth of accessories
The Dale Jarrett SEs are limited to 40 GTs and 40 V6s. They have custom Magnaflow exhaust, Street Scenes body kit, 18" chrome wheels (3 to choose from), and special badging inside and out.
They also offer a upgrade package that adds chip and cold air intake. Total you get around 50-60 more rwhp. They have their own dyno there and test the output of the cars.
I ordered a sonic blue GT one.
However, I will not get stationed to Shaw AFB until June. :notnice:
That said, they will be keeping mine on the show room floor until I do get there. So around May you might be able to drive down and see what the car looks like.
It is a pretty good bang for the buck for a limited edition and I was very impressed with their customer service.
