Capitial Ford in Raleigh and Crossroads in Cary have built up a stock of 05s. Most are V6s. Wakefield Ford in Wake Forest has one or two (and are owned by Crossroads).
If you are looking for a decent dealer, Capitial is okay (ask for Andy Jackson). I went to Crossroads and the saleguy gave me a lot of pressure - Make a decisin right then and there, etc. I'm over 40, so I walked. I guess its everything to do with the saleman you meet. Five years it was just the reverse between these two dealers.

Hey,I'm new to this form.I live in stanley N.C. and have a couple of mustangs.I have a 86 notch,98 v-6 and a legend lime 05 gt.capitial ford and Dale jarrett ford both should be able to give great deals on the 05 as they are first and second in sales in N.C.I was able to get my gt at A-plain from John Johnson ford in Bervard ,but my dad is the used car manager there.Let me knoe if you all decide to have a meet I would like to get out and meet everyone.Chad

They have 05's at Harrelson Ford on South Blvd. Have had them for over a month. Currently 3 White GT's and a Light Green V6.
I actually got to drive a proto type 05 GT in Charlotte back in July when the Director of Sales and Marketing for the Mustang and Ford GT what in Charlotte for a Press Debut. I used to be the City Director for a parking company and the Press gig was at a hotel that we provided the parking for. Got in with the guy and drove the car around the block with him. I told my wife I was buying an 06 (she wants a new house first). If she's happy we are all happy!!!

I'm repling to my own post. Bob Dunn now has a new GM, all the 05 were marked up $4,000 over MSRP. If you haven't seen my other post about this, he also wanted to buy me out of my deal. Offered me $500. Whoopee. Now I'm worried they will sell the car out from under me. :notnice:

Oh yea in July we be at Mustang week at the beach doing that one to, come down Mooresville check all the new stangs and Mach1s Roushs you could see a 05 Saleen

Now I just find another Mustang Club from VA is coming to Mooresville to big Curise-in at Hooters
so now 42 + 4 Mustang Clubs are coming now that's over 90 or100 Mustangs !!

Go to kinston, all the time, saw one GT there but it was dark and didn't catch the color, but it's the only one I've seen in that area. Never see one when I'm there during the day though. Never been to costal plains, not sure where it is.
