N.A.S.A. Road Racing at Atlanta this weekend!
For road racing enthusiasts, there will be N.A.S.A's "Peach State Challenge" at Road Atlanta this weekend - click here for details:

As you can see, it will be a full weekend with lots of classes and racing action to see..always plenty of Mustangs and other Ford cars as well. If you are close, come by, catch some racing action, and introduce yourself! I will be working tech and the starter's tower most of the time. Come say hello!
Plus, N.A.S.A. is always looking for track workers for its events...if you work two events, you will be awarded a FREE driving-school weekend that includes tons of track time and classroom instruction (~$300 value)
. PM me or the NASA-SE Regional Director (Jim Pantas, from the NASA-SE website) for details.

These NASA guys are very well organized. I've worked a few events with LMan, and they're on the ball. I recommend it to everyone.
If you think drag racing is fun, you should try open track. And if you're poor like LMan and I, work a few weekends flagging cars, doing tech inspections, etc. and you'll earn yourself a free weekend on the track. Besides, you get the best seat in the house.

I'll be cashing in my tokens in August at Road Atlanta.
