My house was flooded
Hello everyone,
Boy did I have a bad couple of weeks not only did someone open the door up on my Mustang the week prior my house was flooded. I live in Charleston, SC and it was due to the insane rain fall we had last week. I did not live in a flood zone so I did not have flood insurance. My entire first floor of my house had 2-4 inched of standing water for a couple of days. All my floors were ruined including my kitchen and furniture. I contacted FEMA and waiting on assistance. Please keep me and my family in your thoughts and prayers.
I am glad no one was hurt and my 2015 Ecoboost was dry in the garage.

Wow. I hope things work out for you. My father and his wife in Columbia left home by boat over the weekend. Flash flooding when on of the dams broke took out their vehicles, including his Tiffin Allegro Breeze RV. The heating/AC system for downstairs of their house, and all the under-house ductwork, has to be replaced and will take 3-4 weeks. Fingers crossed that the floor joists check out ok. No water entered their house since it is elevated. They are back home and able to live there and the upstairs AC/heat system works, so they can at least sleep comfortably.
