I'll give this thread a bump, and I'll be there. I go to Barbers all the time either watching races or riding a sportbike on track days. I'd love to get the 05 out there on it, that would be a blast! I also lived in Birmingham for several years, and all my family still lives in the area.

So I'll be there for sure, sounds like fun!

In my 3/1 post, I wondered if the race control obstructs the start/finish line from the hilltop RV park. I was out of the AMA races earlier this year, and walked up the hill. The building and paddock area does in fact obstruct the front straight and start/finish line. Other than that, you've got a pretty good view of much of the track from the hilltop RV park. It's a little far from the action for my taste, though...
