I'm on vacation this week in Daytona Beach. I saw a whole bunch of 05 stangs on my drive down here, although it was over 850 miles, most of them were V6's. I'm staying in a timeshare condo right on Daytona Beach and I have seen quite a few 05 Mustangs down here, in fact I saw three just tonight when I went out, they were all V6's, one yellow, two red. Anyway I was just wondering how many owners we have on this site that live in the Daytona Beach Area, who knows, maybe I saw one of your cars?

 

Hey , glad you could come down and visit. You didnt mention where from, but Im sure Daytona weather is worth the trip. I'm about 20 minutes east of Daytona in Deltona, havnt been over there lately so you havnt seen my torch red GT but I have seen more 05s in my area also, and lots of them are v6's.

 

It says in my profile, but I'm from Morgantown WV. How can you be 20 minutes east of Daytona though since I am on the beach, so I'll assume you meant West. I definately haven't seen your Torch Red GT or any GT so far for that matter, but man your car really looks like it's orange in your avatar pic, assuming that's your car. I didn't drive my brand new baby down here because of the mileage and gas and a couple other reasons, but this is the second week that I will have technically owned my car and I am not able to drive it because I am out of town. Anyone else here live close to Daytona???

 

Hm I wonder if that was you I saw driving on 415 a couple days ago. I was driving home from a friends house around 4pm when I saw my first torch red as I always see redfire GT's.

 

I used to live in Port Orange, but now I live in Deland which is the next town over to the west of Daytona.

 

Yeah I know where Deland is. In fact I just got home from there. The whole reason we even came down here like 6 years ago is because we have relatives that live in Deland, and then my mom ended up buying a condo timeshare. Anyway my family just went over to visit them in Deland and go out to eat. I saw only one 05 Mustang while I was over there, it was a Satin Silver V6.

 

Yes I meant 20 minutes WEST of Daytona, south of Deland. My avatar pic was taken in bright sun which dos mess up the color. I have to upload a better pic. Most of the Mustangs I see are south towards Orlando, but I'm seeing more and more of them here north of Orlando lately which makes me think the supply lines might be easing up.

My wife sells Jack Russell puppies and we had a guy come to our house to buy one and he was a salesman at a Ford delaership. He saw my 05 and we talked. He said they are gearing for 06 now and their are still people waiting on orders. I'm glad I was able to get mine 12/28/04 but I had to wait 2 months also. And I was able to get it on Xplan but I had to do a lot of searching to find a dealership that would let me buy on Xplan .
